Clarke Quay

The boxes are gone & things are put away...it was time to look around a new area. We're finding with the boys (and Drew's need to nap still) that we see areas briefly. We know once our helper arrives we can always go back with or without the kids. Some areas are easier without them - just as they are in the states. Clarke Quay is a neat area and we'd definitely like to go back to see all it has to offer. For today we found a great little stretch of local restaurants (finally, no McDonald's or Ikea food), lots of seafood and it's along the river. I think today was the most humid it's been, but we still enjoyed our time seeing new things. It's only 2pm here and Luke and Adam have already been in the pool twice. Life is rough!

Tonight we promised Luke we'd find somewhere fun for them to run around and be kids. They have been beyond amazing with all of the transitioning. Tomorrow Adam is playing golf with our Superintendent and the Dean. He's pretty excited. A few pics below from dinner the other night and Clarke Quay today.

Clarke Quay- Luke loved all the tanks of live shellfish.  

While Luke RAN from the crab, Drew wasn't phased by it. These were the biggest crabs I've ever seen. 

Lunch- finally, some good Singapore food. Chicken with chili sauce, Singapore noodles and Mango juice.

The boys rushed over to the fish and before Drew realized what was happening, he was in her arms and talking to her :)
