Mid-week Holidays

We've had a few middle-of-the-week holidays the past three weeks. On one of them we attend the wedding. This week we were laaazzzy and spent the entire afternoon at the pool with friends. It was wonderful. Once they left and the boys napped, I managed to finish a book (my second since spring break which is pretty darn good for me!). We wrapped up the day with satay and chicken rice at a new-to-us-hawker with Tanya and her mom who was visiting from Australia.

*Our day off was for Vesak day, which is a Buddhist holiday.

Rewind to Mother's Day... we headed down to Sentosa for one last time. Slappy Cakes just opened a second location there, which was a perfect start to our day at the Pirate water park. The boys have spent several afternoons there and we love that it's so kid friendly. They split their time between water slides, wrestling in the water and shooting hoops when they got cold.
