The Streets of Ho Chi Minh

Yes...you too will be be amazed. Take note of the many directions of the motorbikes. Organized chaos.

Here are a few things we were told:

1. Driving on the right side of the road is normal, but sometimes we drive in both or up the middle.
2. Red lights mean speed up.
3. To cross the road, close your eyes and walk. Don't stop and don't make sudden movements. Just keep walking.
4. Hammocks on the side of roadways are "rest stops" for motorbikes traveling a good distance.
5. Ho Chi Minh accounts for 5 million motorbikes out of the 20 million in the entire country.
