I was diagnosed with multiple muscle strains and laryngitis this morning. There are no meds other than the pain killers that will help. The laryngitis just needs to run its course and I did discover that it was the muscle relaxers that were making me loopy, not the pain killers. What was given to me is a pretty mild pain medicine. My muscle pain has now shot down to my lower back. I feel old.
Me: "Have you been sweating ALL day? It's been so hot today."
Adam: "Well, the hot flashes are also probably part of menopause."
Rude.
Thankful to know it's not something more serious. And note: she did not diagnose me as being stressed. Because I am a pillar of calm and cool. Calm AND cooool.
