Goodbye Summer!

And that's a wrap.

Just like that, we are back to work tomorrow. While I could use a few more days (let's be honest, a lot more days) hanging out, being lazy and enjoying our boys, I will enjoy getting back into my classroom.

This weekend was wonderful in many ways. We got some good sleep, had lazy mornings, swam, had cooler weather, went on a date, hung out with friends, and got a good start at losing our summer/U.S./holy crap we loved the food weight gain. :) Running, bike rides, lots of walking and sweating of course!

My birthday & our anniversary was perfect. We spent the morning on a bike ride with the boys and that night Adam and I got away for dinner at our favorite place - Din Tai Fung. My birthday celebration continued Saturday with a bike ride and breakfast with some friends, followed by a double date with Jill & Alex for dinner.

It was definitely nice not to have any new job/new country/new home/finding a helper stress this year. This weekend was filled with laughter, relaxation and fun. Just what we needed to wrap up our summer vacation!

Beautiful views on our bike ride! My favorite area in Singapore.
Love these two - Tanya & Angela
Sunday night pizza & swimming playdate with a few families from school

Here's to year 2! We're going to fill it with new adventures and soak up all the positive, JOY filled moments we can. We know that someday these will be the moments we miss.
