Thanksgiving

While it was certainly a different Thanksgiving for us, we still managed to have exactly what was intended for the holiday. A day of friends & family gathering around tables, eating food cooked by all, laughing and creating memories. About 30 of us gathered together in a party room, everyone brought something to eat and we feasted on American Thanksgiving goodness. We enjoyed our expat Thanksgiving very much and having Dick & Vicki here to meet a lot of our friends and spend the day with us was a bonus. Different, but the same.

It's not every year that the kids are playing in the pool on Thanksgiving day :)

While we certainly missed our traditions back home, we felt very blessed to have made memories with such wonderful people. Thankful.
